NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Franklin County is an affiliate of NAMI Ohio. NAMI Franklin County and dedicated volunteer members and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
What is the NAMI Mental Health First Aid Connect?
NAMI Franklin County and MACC will be offering one FREE MHFA training for our community each month. Our community includes faith-based, private and public sector, organizations, individuals, etc. The dates for the free “Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Connect trainings are below. We are also delighted to offer fee-based trainings for specific groups such as Veterans, Public Safety, or Older Adults. For more information, please email laurita@namifc.org directly.
