How to Tell Your Story

This training is part of the Survivor Voices program which is part of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) New Hampshire.

The How to Tell Your Story training will provide guidance as loss survivors to tell our story of loss using best practices. This will include some basics around grief, best practices for suicide prevention such as safe messaging, and guidelines for telling your story. We will spend a good deal of time being guided through sharing our story. This program has been implemented in several states around the country as well as Canada.

Prior to the training you will need to have had a pre-screening interview to make sure the training is appropriate and safe for you and other participants, to review individual goals, as well as begin to narrow your possible messages.

This is a two day training. Registration ends February 17.
